To export products to eBay you should follow these steps:
Step 1. You should decide what do you want to do with your data
If you already have products on eBay - you may use the [Map Products] option to link them to products at your store.
If you want to export new products to eBay, you should choose the [Export Products] option.
Use the [Synchronize] option to update products status or relist them on eBay.
To transfer existing orders on eBay to your store database use the option - [Import Ebay Orders (BETA)].
Step 2. Select General Options
On the general page you can see fields that need to be filled:
The "Configuration" pane allows users to upload previously saved configuration or save current settings for the future operations via Addon. Also, there is the possibility to edit or create a new configuration name with options on the right, as well as, remove unused configuration from a list.
In this pane, there are options that serve to keep and restore all configurations at once.
If you want to use the same export configurations on different locations, you can perform this with corresponding buttons. Save all export transactions that were performed in the addon to a separate file, then restore it on other machines. This will save time on settings and speed up the operation process.
The "Account" pane shows the username which is used during current session. If Store Manager is used by several people and each one of them has own eBay account, there is the possibility to choose a login from the dropdown list and addon pulls details from the account that was selected.
To be able to sign up to a new account, use the [Add Account] button and fill the following fields below.
You should specify your user name and password to sign in to your eBay account and start integration. If you are not registered, click the [Register] button.
Once your account is correct, the following window appears:
To be able to move forward click the [I Agree] button and complete authorization.
If the selected account is acceptable, you will see the corresponding message in green:
The "Select General Options" pane allows to indicate eBay site and currency that the user has registered account in, and use it for data exchange operations.
Depending what language is activated at the store, choose the language position based on the store view from the drop-down list (see an illustration above).
Please note, if you use Store Manager for Magento, there is a certain field in the drop-down list with all store views :
During previous transactions (exporting, synchronizing or mapping) some data could be cached on eBay site and may affect the next data processing speed. To avoid this, check the field "Clear Cached Data" at the beginning of the export procedure.
If you check the following position, all requests and responses from eBay during eBay Addon's operation will be placed in the relevan logs file on your local drive.

C:\Users\$USERNAME$\AppData\Local\eMagicOne Store Manager for .....\eBayPlugin\RequestLogs
If you have more than 3000 items on your eBay marketplace, to be able to avoid deceleration in addon operations check the following option:
Click the [Next] button to retrieve the eBay Categories in order to proceed.
Step 3. Select eBay Category
The "Select eBay Category" step allows you to match your store categories with the categories on eBay merchant. Using right mouse click, you will see the context menu, where you have to select the eBay categories that are related to your store categories. You can launch auto-mapping categories by using the [Automap Categories] option on the toolbar, or select some positions and press the [Map Selected Categories] button. Then only highlighted categories and their products will link with the relevant eBay categories.
The [Clear All Mapping] option allows to clear all pre-mapped positions.
[Minimum Relevance Value] means the minimum measure of compliance of target results assigned in the search request. In other words, the greater percentage in this field, the greater similarity will be between eBay products and products, which you are currently exporting.
You are able to link eBay categories to your store categories manually. In order to perform this, click the eBay Category Name column and open the drop-down menu, where you can find the necessary eBay category position.
Please note, the categories which are grey-outed cannot be mapped. These are the root eBay categories. Expand the eBay category tree to find the necessary positions and link with the relevant categories of your store:
When you specify all necessary details, press [Next] to proceed.
Step 4. Select Category Settings
Main details on categories location (path) to products which are exporting are listed in the left pane, namely:

Another column displays the path of eBay categories, which were chosen on the "Mapping Categories" step of export
The last column shows the category condition by default depending on products' conditions that it comprises.
To be able to change the actual condition value on another one, press the browser arrow and select from the list the most acceptable variant.
You can mark listed data as "New" or "Used" / "Pre-owned" in bulk, by pressing the corresponding button:
In the right pane, there is the list with the specific items that can be used for products export as an additional details.
Opposite each position you can see the following options:
< - The "eBay" sign enables to select the necessary option's variant from the eBay list.
< - the second one allows to select the field with the necessary value from your store's database.
Also, some positions have a single list of variants, from which you can choose the desired value.
If necessary, you can create your own item specifics and add it to the existing catalogue:
Press the button at the top of the right pane and specify a new option value in the form, which appears:
A newly-created option will be available in the list. If necessary, you can remove this item from the list with the corresponding button:
When all positions are selected and necessary data is specified, move to the next step of export.
Step 5. eBay Listing Options
This step of the Export Wizard contains the following tabs:
"Export Settings"
"Pricing, Locations, Scheduling, Picture Settings"
"Payments, Returns"
"Shipments"
"Listing Design"
Payments
There, you can check all acceptable payment methods and leave some payment instructions in the right. You can also accept or not accept returns, to do so, select the necessary field in the bottom of the window.
Shipments
You can choose shipping method (flat or calculated) and select necessary shipping services (inside and outside selected eBay site country) from the drop-down lists.
Pricing, Localizations and Others
Fill in all those fields according to your needs.
If it will be a fixed price, you may specify price formula, using an arithmetical expression
If it will be an online auction, you can specify the starting and the buying price formula.
Click the [Test Formulas] button to test whether your expressions are correct.
The products price from your store may differ from the price values on eBay. In this case, you can use your own custom price parameter. To implement this, first of all, create the necessary attribute in the "Attributes" section of Store Manager. For example, "custom_price", and specify "Price" as an attribute type:
Do not forget to assign a newly-created attribute to the required products! On the "eBay Listing Options" step you will be able to pull this value from the drop-down list of available macros:
You must fill in the address fields, entering the store zip code and location of your store in the right section of the window.
You can also select picture hosting and customize listing start time. To start listing immediately once the operation on eBay will be successful completed, check the option below:
To be able to postpone the launch of the products listing on eBayб add it to the schedule by selecting the relevant checkbox:
Please note, this option has an additional fee according to eBay procing, and costs 10 cents for each product. For instance, if you have the catalog with 20 items, the launch of the schedule will cost you 20*0.10=2$ etc.
Take into account, the price value may vary depending on country and currency which are currently used.
The schedule includes the start date and exact time of launching catalog to the eBay sales.
Export Settings
Check all those fields according to your needs.
Pay attention to this required sectors:
eBay items identification - "eBay_id" - the separate field in the products table, which the eBay products IDs will be stored in.
For example, in Store Manager for OpenCart this field will looks like:
Please note, in the Store Manager for Magento this field will be displayed as a single attribute and you can find it among the other attributes of the corresponding section of Store Manager. It is recommended to leave this field by default.
Export methods. You should choose at least one of these positions to be able to proceed:
The first field allows to create new items positions in your eBay listing.
"Update existing active eBay items" allows to update previously exported on eBay products data only with active status.
"Relist item if it is inactive" refreshes the list of your eBay items after export, if it is currently inactive
"Create new item if it is inactive" allows to add new positions in your listing, if they have inactive status on eBay.
Please note, if you leave fields unselected, you will get the following notification:
"Products Export Options" presented as additional conditions for items, which are exported and can be selected if these conditions meet your needs.
"Do not create items with truncated titles". There are requirements regarding products names on eBay - they must have not more than 255 characters. If among your items to be exported are the ones with the names above normal, these products will be exported with corrupted titles. To avoid this, select the first filed and these items will be skipped and if necessary you can re-export them after adjusting their headings to the eBay requirements.
"Export product only if quantity >0" allows you to narrow the export scope and transfer only the items with quantity greater than zero. All others will not be exported in this case.
"Export only "in stock" products". Export those items which have quantity zero at the store, but can be delivered to the customer because of their stock availability.
"Do not update quantity if items exists". This field is suitable during update of previously exported data on eBay (when the field "Update existing active eBay items" is checked) and allows to leave the quantity of existing products without changes. All other information will be updated.
In other case, you can leave all these fields unchecked.
Listing design
"Visitor counter" shows the number of visitors who have viewed your listing on eBay. You can select necessary counter's design from the proposed options:
You can also view it on the eBay site at the bottom of your items listing.
"Themes" is used to specify the appropriate theme and design of your listing on eBay marketplace. To make a design of your listing you should activate the relevant fields in the current tab. Select the "Add theme" checkbox:
Note: all themes are chargeable according to the eBay pricing and cost 30 cents for each product that you are exporting. So if, for example, you are planning to transfer 20 positions of goods on eBay marketplace, to use the selected theme you should pay {20 * 0.30} = $ 6. This amount will be taken by the eBay’s settlement system from your eBay account after exporting.
In addition, each theme has its own decoration. Opposite the title of each variant in the parenthesis there are the number of design solutions:
From the drop-down lists in the "Select design" field, you can choose the most suitable to your vision variant:
These settings will be shown on your listing page of eBay site after exporting.
Step 6. Export Products Template
This step allows you to set up the corresponding fields. There, you can see two required fields - "Title" and "Description".
With right-click, select the table from your database that will be used as a "Title". We have selected [product_name] as product "Description".
You should add the additional information to the fields in the left. Right-click next to each position and choose the required product field.
The details will be linked in the right. Besides, in the "Description" field you can use common HTML tags after pressing the corresponding option. It opens the "HTML Editor" form.
There is also the possibility to fill all data automatically. To do so hit the corresponding button, as shown below.
To be able to preview export data, press the [Next] button.
Step 7. Export Preview Data
This step allows you to check all information that will be exported.
Also, you can use special buttons on the top toolbar to check/uncheck export status of selected items, edit description and apply changes you done.
Make sure that all products you would like to be exported are selected.
The current operation can be automatically launched according to the scheduler settings specified in the appropriate form.
Press the [Schedule] button in the middle to create a task.
Specify task name and choose the configuration from a list .
While using bridge connection type, get and post data actions should be checked as well.
If the task in scheduler is performed, you will receive the notification on your email indicated in the following field:
Schedule task can be launched monthly, daily, weekly, or at once.
Depending on the period you have chosen, fill the fields that appears to configure the timetable of the current operation:
< - Daily
< - Monthly
<- Weekly
< - At once
To be able to make the task repetitive for a certain period of time, fill the fields at the bottom of the form:
Do not forget to press [OK] to save all your entries in this form.
You will get the following notification then:
If everything is correct, please click the [Export] button to proceed. After that, you will be able to check the result on your eBay site.
Step 7. Results
On the last step you can check the report. Selecct "Export Status" to check products that were exported to eBay store.
By clicking the product icon you will move to the product page on eBay marketplace and check all the details that were exported.
